Doncaster road to be 'closely monitored' after speeding op concerns
Police have warned they plan to ‘closely monitor’ a stretch of road in a Doncaster village following a speeding operation there.
Community support officers from Doncaster East neighbourhood policing team were sent to Manor Road at Hatfield last week, to check vehicles following residents concerns over the speed cars were travelling.
They found of 78 vehicles, 19 were breaking the 30mph limit. Three were travelling over 40mph.
A spokesman for the force said: “This area will be closely monitored by the Roads Policing Team and East PCs.”
