A Doncaster man has been jailed after he made two threatening phone calls to a woman, court records show.

Daniel Berriman appeared before Doncaster Magistrates’ Court on February 1 where he was sentenced for twice calling the woman on December 11 last year.

The 30-year-old, of Cross Bank, Doncaster, had initially denied the offences, but was found guilty after a trial at the magistrates’ court in December.

He was jailed for 12 weeks and magistrates also issued a restraining order, to run until further notice.
