Doncaster man in court on firearms charges after raid on city centre gun shop
A Doncaster man has appeared in court charged with firearms offences after being arrested during an alleged gun shop raid.

Gavin Smedley, 37, of Old Hexthorpe, appeared before Doncaster Magistrates' Court after being charged with burglary and three counts of possessing a firearm without a certificate.
The charges relate to a burglary alleged to have occurred at a firearms shop in the city centre on 17 March.
Smedley was remanded in custody and is due to appear before Sheffield Crown Court on 16 April.
