Doncaster inmate on the run after disappearing on day release
An inmate at a Doncaster prison is on the run today after absconding while on day release.
John Elliot, who is a convicted burglar, was serving a three year sentence at HMP Hatfield when he vanished.
The 41-year-old had been allowed out of the open prison on a day release visit and failed to return.
