Court round-up: Key cases heard this week across South Yorkshire

Star court reporter Jon Cooper has been covering cases at the magistrates' and crown courts. Here you can read about some of the defendants brought to justice in recent days.

Offenders from across South Yorkshire and Sheffield are continuing to be sentenced at Sheffield crown and magistrates’ courts and Doncaster Magistrates’ Court.

Cases here include three men jailed for manslaughter after a fracas following a football match, a dangerous driver involved in a 100mph police pursuit, and two jailed paedophiles.

Judges have imposed a range of sentences - including jail in some cases - after considering any mitigating circumstances.
