Concern grows for welfare of missing Doncaster teenager

South Yorkshire Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing Doncaster teenager who was last seen in Bradford.

Joshua Ashton, 16, is originally from Doncaster, but is also said to have links to Hull and Bradford in West Yorkshire.

The 16-year-old was last seen at Bradford train station at 1pm on January 25 but South Yorkshire Police said they have reason to believe that he travelled to Denaby Main in Doncaster on the same day.

Josh is described as being 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with short dark hair and he was last seen wearing a black jacket, black jeans and black trainers.

Anyone who has recently seen the 16-year-old or knows of his whereabouts is encouraged to contact police as soon as possible, by calling officers on non-emergency contact number 101 and quoting incident number 596 of 25 January.

Alternatively, people can also report information anonymously to charity Crimestoppers via their website or by dialling their helpline 0800 555 111.
