Appeal for witnesses after motorcyclist suffers serious injuries in collision on Doncaster road

South Yorkshire Police Roads Policing Officers are appealing for information following an incident in Old Cantley last Friday morning.

Officers were called at 6.48am with reports of a collision involving a motorbike and car at the junction of Warning Tongue Lane and the A638 Bawtry Road.

It is believed that the car, a silver Audi A4, was turning right into Warning Tongue Lane when it was in collision with a white Honda GLR 125.

The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man, suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision and remains in hospital at this time.

The driver of the Audi is co-operating fully with enquiries.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision this morning and would also like to appeal for any dash-cam footage to be shared.
