These killers have been jailed for taking lives in South Yorkshire

The courts have successfully brought a number of killers to justice in recent times following crimes of murder and manslaughter.

Below are some of the most shocking cases from across South Yorkshire that resulted in the terrible loss of lives.

Offenders have been involved in stabbings, stranglings and a shooting and have received a range of punishments with many facing long custodial sentences.

The tragic killings have involved the deaths of a father-of-three, two teenage boys and a popular boxer, among others.
