Cosmo in the Frenchgate Centre has said it will temporarily shut – but not with immediate effect.
Yesterday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson advised people to stay away from pubs, clubs and restaurants to help tackle the COVID-19 pandemic – but didn’t go as far as ordering places to shut, as in some other European countries.

“We have had no confirmed cases amongst our staff but to ensure no spread in our restaurants, Cosmo Doncaster will be temporarily closed.
“Apologies for any inconvenience caused to any bookings made for this period - the health and well-being of all our staff and customers is our priority and we will still continue to monitor the situation closely and follow all Government guidelines stringently.
“Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to welcoming you back soon.”
