Casualties taken to hospital with suspected spine injuries after two vehicle collision

A report was received at 10.12am and crews attended, two casualties escaping from the vehicles before their arrival.

First aid was administered until the ambulance arrived and both casualties were taken to hospital suffering suspected c-spine injuries.

Small tools were used to make the vehicles safe and the incident was left with the police.

* Firefighters also attended a car fire on the access road to Belton Brickworks yesterday at 11.23am.

Two breathing apparatus and two hose reels were in use.
