Doncaster carer faces deportation after being jailed for swindling widow
The live-in carer and another woman were jailed after swindling a woman, 83, out of £5,400
A Doncaster carer has been told she faces deportation after being jailed for swindling a grieving 83-year-old widow out of £5,400.
Sharon Kasuto, along with Uaepa Mbunga, fleeced the wheelchair user after they were paid to look after at her home in Redruth, Cornwall.
Over a six-week period they used her bank cards to steal £5,400.

Truro Crown Court heard the victim was wheelchair-bound after a fall, and her husband died during the period the two carers were employed.
Judge James Adkin said they 'systematically stole' from an incredibly vulnerable and grieving woman.
He said it was an abuse of trust and the jail term must act as a deterrent to those who are paid to care for elderly people.
Mum of one Kasuto, 37, of Doncaster, and mother of one Mbunga, 38, of Barnsley, were convicted by a jury on two charges of fraud by false representation, with the offences taking place in November 2022.
They were each sentenced to two years in prison.
