It was shared by Led By Donkeys on Twitter earlier today with the message: “The people have turned against Boris Johnson. Now let's turn out to vote.”

The footage shows Mr Johnson visiting flood hit Doncaster – but being harangued by locals angry at his response to South Yorkshire’s flood crisis.

“Boris, you’re a liar,” “shame on you” and “you took your time Boris” are all shouting out at the PM in the montage, which some people stopped to film on mobile phones.

And the stunt was met with praise on Twitter.

Footage of Boris Johnson was beamed onto the side of Sheffield City Hall.

One Twitter user wrote: “That's a f****** beautiful thing. Keep shouting!”

Another posted: “Great work!” while another wrote: “Amazing work. I felt tears in my eyes. If there is a heaven your seat is locked in.”

Another tweet read: “You guys absolutely rock! Thank you for all you do.”

Led by Donkeys uses satire targeted at pro-Brexit politicians and since its creation in December 2018, its four founders have posted billboards targeting politicians across the country.
