Broken down train causes disruption on railway between Sheffield and Manchester

Rail operator Northern says that a train is blocking the tracks at New Mills Central station and disruption is expected until 10am this morning.

It is likely all services across the Pennines will be subject to delays and disruption while the blockage is cleared.
