Belton service to remember the fallen

Details for this year’s Remembrance Day service in Belton which takes place tomorrow, Sunday, November 9 are as follows.

A service will take place from 9.30am in the village’s All Saints Church followed by The Colours being paraded from the church to the Grey Green war memorial at 10.20am.

The act of remembrance is at 11am and there will be refreshments in the school at 11.15am with a chance to view displays and war time artefacts and also record thanks or prayers on the Poppy Flow in the school hall.

Organiser John Tindale said: “We hope you will join us to remember in this 100th year since the World War 1 conflict began.”
