Bands and comedians join forces for star-studded Doncaster flood relief concert
A string of bands and comedians are to join forces for a fundraising concert in aid of Doncaster’s flood victims.
Doncaster’s own Bang Bang Romeo, Sheffield comedy ukulele band The Everly Pregnant Brothers and comedian Paul Sinha, star of TV’s The Chase, will be among those taking part in the concert at The Dome on December 10.
Organised by BBC Radio Sheffield, the show will also feature performances from comics Justin Moorhouse and Tom Wrigglesworth.
Proceeds will go to the flood disaster appeal and tickets will go on sale next week.
It is Bang Bang Romeo’s second fundraising flood relief concert. They will also be performing at Armthorpe’s Coronation Club this Thursday night to raise cash for people hit by the River Don bursting its banks.
