Appeal to pay for funeral of popular Doncaster doorman smashes £2,500 target after his death
An appeal to help pay for the funeral of a popular Doncaster doorman has smashed its target after his death.
David Nottingham, 38, a former boxer and familiar sight on the town's nightlife scene on the doors of pubs and clubs, passed away on Saturday morning following a battle with adrenal cancer.
And a Crowdfunding campaign to collect £2,500 for Mr Nottingham's family has now reached nearly £3,000 in the wake of his death.
