Air ambulance lands as major Doncaster road sealed off due to emergency incident
The air ambulance has landed in Doncaster city centre this morning as emergency services deal with a serious incident on one of the area’s main roads.

Thorne Road has been closed leading into the city centre near to Town Fields.
Police and ambulance crews are all at the scene near to the junction with Rectory Gardens.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance has landed on Town Fields.
We have asked South Yorkshire Police and the air ambulance for more details of the incident, which took place at around 9am.
