A man has died following a house fire in Doncaster

South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said: “A man in his 60s has been found dead following a serious house fire in Doncaster.

“Four fire crews attended the incident on Redbourne Road, Bentley at around 00.30am on Monday.

“The house was well alight when firefighters arrived on the scene.”

Crews left the incident at around 7.30am.

An investigation into the cause of the fire will take place on Monday.

“Our thoughts are with the loved ones of the person who died,” South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue continued.
