Along with Father Christmas making an appearance at the shopping centre, family favourite films The Grinch, 2018, and Elf were shown for free.
There was also free mulled wine and roasted chestnuts and festive food traders sold Yorkshire Pudding Wraps and German sausages.
The event on Sunday also featured a special performance from Doncaster's own Bang Bang Romeo.
Santa’s Workshop Experience officially opened to the public at the Seasonal Festivities launch at the shopping centre.
Centre manager Di Rodgers said: “We had a cram-packed day of fun for our customers.
“This was a fantastic family fun day filled with festivities and lots of Christmas magic.”
Di added: “Our customers requested family favourites which were shown on the big screen and we had biscuit decorating workshops running throughout the day.
“For this first time, this year, Lakeside Village is presenting an experience to see Father Christmas.”
