Santa and his reindeer prepare to return to Park Lodge

Sharon Bayston, proprietor of Park Lodge and organiser of the Christmas programme said: “Demand for our Christmas events grows every year and we are very excited at the programme we have put together for 2014. As well as our live reindeers and Santa’s Grotto, which is always a great hit with the children, we have some fantastic new ranges in our Winter Wonderland store and bookings are already starting to come in for the Festive Demonstrations and office parties. There really is something for everyone and we hope that families from across the region will come and join in the Park Lodge festive spirit.”

The magical Winter Wonderland Store

Park Lodge’s unique new range of Christmas decorations and gifts are brought over direct from Europe. Unusual, unique and of the highest quality, there is everything you need for a spectacular Christmas, including stunning Christmas trees, sparkling lights, beautiful table decorations, gorgeous baubles, scented candles, candy sticks, and much, much more. Open 9am until 5pm Wednesday to Sunday from now until 23 December.

Plus visitors can enjoy a special ‘Dine & Shop’ deal – 2 meals for £12 in the coffee shop/bistro (must be pre booked).

Meet Rudolph and Dancer and visit Santa in his Grotto

Bring the children to meet the live reindeer and visit Santa in his grotto to receive a gift. Entry fee is £7.99, plus first two adults free, then £1 per accompanying adult. Open 10am until 4pm 6/7 December, 13/14 December and 20/21/22 December.

Supper with Santa

A special treat for the children as they visit the Grotto and meet Rudolph, enjoy a special supper and hear Santa read a Christmas story. Taking place on 12, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 December only, £17.50 per child. Must be pre booked as places are limited.

Fabulous Christmas Display Demonstrations

Enjoy a special demonstration by renowned creative designer Delise Thorp as she shows how to put some ‘wow’ into your Christmas displays. From extra special table dressings to fabulous garlands and wreaths, Delise will show you how to add those special touches to make your Christmas sparkle! Taking place at 7pm on 12, 19 and 28 November, plus 2.30pm on 28 November. Tickets are £10 each including glass of fizz and mince pie. Tickets must be pre booked as places are limited.

Christmas parties

For organisations looking for a Christmas party venue with a difference, Park Lodge is offering its superb function room, ideal for a fun, festive event of up to 50 people, and its more intimate Board Room, which is perfect for groups of up to 20. Add in a few welcome drinks in the luxurious lounge and a delicious Christmas menu for either lunch or dinner, and you’re ready to go! Prices start from £15 per person.

Shoot and dine packages

Another package ideal for businesses, Park Lodge’s ‘shoot and dine’ packages are challenging, fun and delivered by experts. Prices start from £75 per person, which includes: 50 clay targets each/Gun hire/ Instructor /Cartridges/Personnel Protective Equipment/ Insurance / Refreshments on arrival.
