These are the best places in Yorkshire to raise a family

Good schools, shops, hospitals and parks all play a part in making an area an excellent place to raise a family – but identifying the best neighbourhoods can sometimes involve a great deal of research.

However, these factors have now been analysed by the Property Detective website, which has crunched the numbers to reveal Yorkshire and the Humber’s most family-friendly postcodes.

Each area was assigned a single number between 0 and 100, with the highest scores signifying the best potential areas for raising a family.

The data was shared exclusively with the JPIMedia Data Unit – and the findings are below.

9. LS7 - Leeds
