First look inside new £34m Doncaster housing development

Home-buyers are invited to take a first look inside a new £34 million Doncaster housing development.

Avant Homes has revealed its collection of showhomes for its Furlong Park development, off Leger Way, Wheatley Hills.

Work is progressing on the 143-property scheme – and prospective buyers can now take a look inside examples of the three-bedroom Haddington, four-bedroom detached Sudbury and five-bedroom Chesham-style homes.

The development of two, three, four and five-bedroom homes is being built on the former site of Wheatley Hills Middle School, a 12,91-acre brownfield site which has stood empty for more than 20 years since the school closed in 1997.

Anne Bagshaw, Avant Homes Yorkshire sales and marketing director, said: “We are making great progress with building works at our much-anticipated Furlong Park development and are hugely excited to have unveiled our showhomes to prospective purchasers.

“There is a real demand for attainable, design-led homes for modern family living in Doncaster and we think buyers will be really impressed with the quality and choice at Furlong Park.”

Prices on the first phase of properties range from £179,995 for a two-bedroom semi-detached home to £412,995 for a five-bedroom detached property.
