World famous chicken wings restaurant to open first UK branch in Doncaster

Frenchgate has been chosen as the first ever UK location for the firm and diners will be able to get their hands on its world-famous wings from May 18.

Promising something for every taste, restaurant goers can expect a menu with firm favourites from the char-grilled Elephant Burger and famous crispy chicken wings to fresh pastas, homemade desserts, tasty kid’s meals, a stacked wine selection and much more.

Known for delighting diners with amazing service in a laid-back environment, Elephant & Castle will be open from noon until late, seven days a week for dine in, collection and delivery on www.elephantandcastle.co.uk

Elephant & Castle originated in New York City and following a growing popularity, Ireland was next in line to open the doors to ‘The World’s Best Wings.’

For over 30 years, the firm has cemented itself into the Irish food scene growing from the iconic Temple Bar flagship eatery to now boasting 11 locations throughout Dublin and Cork.

“The founder and creator of Elephant & Castle, George Schwarz, lived in England himself during in WW2 and in fact named the restaurant after a London Tube station he passed on his morning commute to university.
