Deliveroo reveals Doncaster's ordering habits – you will never expect the top order

The on-demand food delivery service has said that the people of Doncaster can’t get enough of American food.

With the Fajita Burrito from Taco Bell being the most popular dish in the town.

There are currently 29 of the Californian based Tex-Mex fast food restaurant in the UK.

And, Doncaster has two.

The second most popular dish is the Bacon Double Cheese XL Meal from Burger King followed by the Boneless Banquet from KFC.

Further data has revealed that residents also cannot get enough of donuts and Chinese meals.

Deliveroo said that residents also loved ordering Glazed Chocolate Cake from Dunkin’ Donuts and Sweet and Sour Chicken Balls from Taste of China.

Friday night at 8.56pm, to be exact, was also revealed to be the most popular time for people in the town to make their order with Deliveroo.

Since its launch in the town a year ago, more than 50 restaurants have signed up to the platform.

Deliveroo has created work for more than 20 people, with the majority of these being the Deliveroo riders who deliver food which is cooked fresh to order and delivered to your door within 30 minutes.

Deliveroo also said it supports businesses in Doncaster.

Claiming that 60 per cent of its restaurant partners are independent restaurants in the town.

Harison Foster, Regional Director of Deliveroo said: “Our whole team here at Deliveroo are delighted that our rapid growth in Doncaster over the past year means that customers have more choice, restaurants are able to increase their revenue, and riders have opportunity to choose well-paid, flexible work.”

Deliveroo said it is also focused on providing the “ultimate food delivery experience”.

Customers now have the option to schedule orders via the Deliveroo app up to one day in advance.

They can also receive food as ‘soon as possible’ between noon and 11pm, and from noon on the weekends, from a variety of leading, independent and best-loved chain restaurants which have signed up to Deliveroo.
