These are the areas of Doncaster where case rates have risen in the most recent period for which data is available, covering the seven days up to Saturday, March 19.

All figures are cases per 100,000 people.

The local data from Public Health England is provided for each of the district's Middle layer Super Output Areas (MSOAs), which may not always tally with local authority wards.

Doncaster saw an overall rise in Covid cases over the week concerned, and Dr Rupert Suckling, director of public health at Doncaster Council, said in his most recent weekly message that the biggest rise in Covid-19 cases was in the 20 to 29 year-old age category.

He said he put this down to transmission in workplaces and those who could not work from home.

He urged school children to refrain from mixing with each other outside of school settings to keep transmission as low as possible as ‘every single contact is an added risk’.
