PICTURES: Photos show extent of destruction after doctors' cars smashed at Doncaster surgery
These pictures show the extent of destruction after cars belonging to doctors fighting the coronavirus crisis in Doncaster were smashed.
Vehicle windows were smashed on cars belonging to staff at the Lakeside Practice in Askern yesterday.
A man has now been arrested by South Yorkshire Police in connection with the incident.
GP Dr Stephanie Teanby-Clark said: “Staff are traumatised and out of pocket in these already challenging times.”
Facebook users reacted with anger. Julie Hayhoe said: “This is an absolute disgrace when you're providing a great service to our community.”
Becky Birkett said: “So sad when all you try and do is help us all. I have a car sat outside doing absolutely nothing, if any of you need to borrow it let me know.”
Beryl Cook said: “Totally brainless. Don't they realise that they may need their pointless little lives saving one day and they will be running to our NHS doctors and nurses expecting help.”
