Doncaster Olympic hero Sarah Stevenson launches weekly livestream fitness workout during lockdown

The mum of two, who won a bronze medal in taekwondo at the 2008 Olympics, has pledged to do her bit to keep the nation fit and active during the COVID-19 shutdown.
She said: “I’ll be helping with our motivation, physical and mental health during these hard times.

She added: “As an Olympic athlete I have developed not just physical but emotional strength. It has shaped me to be the person I am today.
“Physical wellbeing is vital to your emotional wellbeing – an Olympic mindset will last you a lifetime and help you through even the darkest of life's challenges.”
Sarah will stream the workout live through her Facebook page, which you can find HERE every Saturday at 9am.

Hide AdSarah, 36, who now lives in Liverpool, represented Britain at four Olympic Games, with her greatest success coming in 2008 in Beijing, when she became Britain’s first ever taekwondo medallist by taking bronze
She bravely took part in the 2012 Games in London after losing both her parents to cancer in the year ahead of the Olympics.
She read the athletes’ oath at the 2012 Games and was awarded an MBE the same year, announcing her retirement from the sport the following year.
She later became a GB coach before stepping down to become a full-time mum.
