One more person who tested positive for coronavirus has died in Doncaster, NHS England have confirmed.

The latest death was announced today (27 March) as part of NHS England’s daily update. The patient’s family has been informed after they died on Wednesday.

NHS England said delays in the length of time to confirm publicly a death of somebody testing positive for Covid-19 can occur for reasons such as an individual being tested post-mortem or difficulties in tracing and informing family members. All figures provided are given for at least one day previous.

NHS England said of the 168 coronavirus deaths in England confirmed today, all but four – who were aged between 82 and 91 years old – had underlying health conditions.

The patients were aged between 29 and 98 years old.
