Coronavirus: Louis Tomlinson reschedules Doncaster hometown gig after Dome date axed

Doncaster’s Louis Tomlinson has rescheduled a hometown gig after an upcoming concert at The Dome was cancelled due to coronavirus.

The former One Direction star was due to perform at the venue on March 27 as part of his world tour in support of debut album Walls.

But yesterday, The Dome cancelled all its events and shows until the end of June as the world deals with the COVID-19 pandemic.

However, the singer was quick to reschedule the show, announcing that it will now take place later this year.

The show will now take place on September 16.

Other concerts in Glasgow, Manchester and London have also been rearranged.

The singer kicked off his world tour in Barcelona last week but only managed a couple of dates before having to cancel and rearrange dozens of shows around the globe because of the coronavirus outbreak.
