Coronavirus in Doncaster: Decision on school closures in England ‘imminent'

With 1,950 confirmed cases as of yesterday, schools are closing for the protection of staff and pupils.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson said today: “The House should expect further decisions to be taken imminently on schools and how to make sure we square the circle both of making sure we stop the spread of the disease but also making sure we relieve, as much as we can, pressure on our NHS.”
A number of secondary schools have told pupils to stay at home.

OUTWOOD ACADEMY DANUM
Outwood Academy Danum in Armthorpe Road is closed to year 8, 9, 12 and 13 pupils
OUTWOOD ACADEMY ADWICK
Outwood Academy Adwick is closed to years 8, 9, 12 and 13 with immediate effect.
A spokesman said: “The academy is open to Year 7, 10 and 11, all other year groups should access work through Google Classroom.”
MCAULEY CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL
McAuley Catholic High School is only open to Year 11 and 13 students, who are due to sit GCSE and A-Level exams this summer.
Ridgewood School is closed to years 8, 9, 10 and 12.
ARMTHORPE SOUTHFIELD PRIMARY SCHOOL
The school has now reopened after a deep clean
SALTERSGATE JUNIOR SCHOOL
All open evening appointments will be postponed until further notice.
All in-school celebration events will be cancelled, including the Easter Coffee morning.
All before and after school clubs (including sports clubs, Wake-Up, Shake-up, Y6 sessions) will continue, as these cater for small numbers of pupils
