Numerous events across Doncaster have been cancelled in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.

Here’s some of the events we’ve been made aware of that will not be taking place due to COVID-19.

Doncaster Chamber of Commerce

Doncaster Chamber of Commerce has decided to postpone a number of events planned over the coming weeks, including its headline Conference in May.

The Chamber is also looking at ways to deliver some of its events programme and training courses as online interactive sessions with further details to be released when available.

Doncaster Toll Bar ARLFC

The committee has decided to close the club for all training and matches until further notice. A spokesman said: “This is a decision that hasn't been taken lightly and feel it is the best course of action after statements from the governing bodies advising us to do so.”

Fishlake Drama Group

Camelot the Panto has been cancelled.

A spokesman said: “We feel that this decision will help protect our cast, backstage crew and audience. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

Doncaster Euro Cafe

A Doncaster EU cafe due to take place at Back In Time Cafe, St Sepulchre Gate, Doncaster on April 5 has been postponed.

Roots Music Club

A spokesman said: “After much deliberation on the issue of everyone's safety we have decided to close the club until the end of May. We will continue to assess the situation and plan to re-open as soon as it is safe to do so. “For those of you who have bought tickets via Wegottickets.com to see Daoiri Farrell this Friday, Wegottickets.com will email you and encourage you to hold on to your ticket/s until we confirm a new date. You will be entitled to refunds, but won't automatically receive them unless you request one.”

Vulcan To The Sky Trust

Dr Robert Pleming of the Vulcan to the Sky Trust said: “Due to the unprecedented situation brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Vulcan to the Sky Trust has decided to postpone all Access Visits and public Engine Ground Runs planned for Vulcan XH558 at least for the remainder of March and all of April.

As soon as some certainty returns to the situation, we will be working on new dates and will be in touch with any ticket holders directly to ensure that they have the opportunity to visit the Vulcan as soon as is practicable.”

Doncaster Athletic Club

Tonight, 17 March, is the last training session at Doncaster Athletic Club until further notice. All club related activities are suspended until further notice. The Town Field Time Trial is cancelled.

Saturday club closed until further notice.

The Awards Night scheduled to take place this Saturday has been postponed until the autumn. All tickets purchased will of course be transferred to the new date.

Live Music at the Phoenix

The Jon Palmer concert at The Phoenix, Bawtry on March 28 has been cancelled.

Sandall Park

Tonight's Friends of Sandall Park meeting and all following meetings have been cancelled until further notice.The Easter Eggstravaganza due to be held in the park has also been cancelled.

Cast

All events and public gatherings in Cast’s spaces have been cancelled for the next 6 weeks.

The Dome

All shows and events scheduled to take place at The Dome have been cancelled until June.

Armthorpe Leisure Centre

Armthorpe Leisure Centre is currently closed for deep cleaning due to COVID-19. It is due to reopen on Friday
