230 more coronavirus cases diagnosed in Doncaster

The number of recorded coronavirus cases in Doncaster increased by 230 over the weekend, official figures show.

Public Health England figures show that 25,136 people had been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19 by 9am today, Monday, June 28, in Doncaster up from 24,906 the same time on Friday.

Half of under 30s in England vaccinated against Covid after ‘grab a jab’ weekend

The rate of infection in Doncaster now stands at 8,059 cases per 100,000 people, higher than the England average of 7,350.

A total of 25,136 people have been confirmed as testing positive for Covid-19

Doncaster's cases were among the 427,455 recorded across Yorkshire, a figure which rose by 5,514 over the period.
