Cancer advice drop-in at the Flying Scotsman Centre in Doncaster
Doncaster’s Macmillan Cancer Information and Support Service staff will be in the city centre on Thursday (2 March 2023) to give expert advice on spotting the signs and symptoms of cancer.

Call in at The Flying Scotsman Centre 9.30am to 4pm for a confidential chat. Team member Sarah McCoy said: “We have a wealth of experience in supporting people who have been affected by cancer, or who simply want to know more about what to keep an eye out for. We have lots of information we can give you to take away and read in your own time.
“We know that cancer is a difficult subject to talk about and people can be overwhelmed by the thoughts and questions they may have, but don’t worry, we can listen, help and advise.
“Statistics suggests that around one in two of us will be diagnosed with cancer at some time in our life, so the more information we have the better. ”
