Sweden trip for Doncaster students
Five Doncaster College students have enjoyed an inspirational two-week international work placement in Linköping, Sweden.
The Children and Young People’s Workforce students worked in nurseries and pre-schools, gaining knowledge of the Swedish childcare systems. They sang in Swedish with children and joined them in outdoor learning activities; a key element of Swedish education. Student Emma Wainer said: “It was such a great experience. This will definitely benefit my future as it has developed my confidence.”
