Schools achieve School Games Mark
Forty-eight schools across Doncaster have proudly achieved the School Games Mark Award, a national scheme that recognises schools for their commitment to high-quality sport, physical activity and competitive opportunities for all pupils.
The award, presented at Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, celebrates schools that promote participation, inclusion and wellbeing, offering regular sporting experiences in lessons, clubs and events. This success highlights Doncaster schools dedication to inspiring pupils to be active, confident and engaged through sport.
Schools across Doncaster are encouraged to apply for their own School Games Mark Award in the coming academic year and showcase the amazing work they are already doing in PE, sport and physical activity.
The School Games programme is a national initiative funded by Sport England that helps schools provide inclusive sporting opportunities, celebrate pupil achievement and support lifelong participation in sport. Schools interested in getting involved, learning more about the application process, or developing their School Games offer can contact their local School Games Organiser for guidance, support and resources at Doncasterschoolgames.activefusion.org.uk
