Puddle Ducks support Isle charity

Nicola Codd, a Puddle Ducks Doncaster franchisee, handed over a bumper cheque for £920 to Jackie McHale of Team Verrico, the Epworth-based charity formed in memory of Anna Verrico, who died last year of breast cancer.

The presentation was made at Epworth Swimming Pool, one of the venues where fundraising action took place in the form of a sponsored pool pyjama party.

Jackie McHale said: “We are delighted to be one of Puddle Ducks Doncaster’s supported charities this year. The generosity and support of the Puddle Ducks team and their customers has been fantastic. A big thank you to all the children and their parents involved in the events throughout the Pyjama Week, as well as the Puddle Ducks teachers. Without your support Team Verrico could not provide help when families need it most.”

The total sum raised was £1847.36, split between Team Verrico and Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
