Wednesday Music Club will start at The Point, on South Parade, with taster sessions on Wednesday November 20 and 27, from 4pm – 5.30pm.

The club will then take place at The Point, a friendly place, open to all and offering a safe space to try different, sometimes challenging, and often transformative creative activities

The free music club will take place every Wednesday from January 8 from 4pm – 5.30pm during school term time.

No experience is needed and the children don’t need to know how to play an instrument.

Musician, Dyzelle Sutherland, said: “We can’t wait to meet young people from our local neighbourhoods in central Doncaster and from across the borough.

“Whether you are interested in music tech or just want to meet other young people who love music, everyone is welcome to join this friendly, free and inclusive music club”.

Wendy, a parent who attended a music session at The Point over the summer holidays, said: “As someone whose first language isn’t English, The Point was completely new to me – but I know it’s a great place for my children.

“It’s nice to know they’re doing something fun, and it’s definitely encouraged us to join one of the future workshops here.”
