Free British Sign Language course

Doncaster Deaf Trust says more than 10,000 people have joined its free online, level one, British Sign Language course.

The trust is celebrating reaching the landmark milestone during Deaf Awareness Week 2020 and said it hopes to see many more people signing as a result of the National Lottery Funded course.

Alexis Johnson, trust executive principal, said: “We are thrilled to now have more than 10,000 people from across the country taking part in our BSL level one course.”
