The Doncaster Business Showcase is the go‑to event for businesses wanting to build valuable connections and drive growth.
The six hour event at Doncaster Racecourse brought together hundreds of exhibitors and attracted thousands of visitors, making it one of the region’s most prominent business events.
For many businesses, it’s the must‑attend networking opportunity of the year.
Dionne Allen, Free Press Senior Business Partner, went along to see what it was all about.
She said: “The Doncaster Free Press team recently attended the Doncaster Business Showcase 2026 last week at Doncaster Racecourse.
This annual event is in its 16th year and is the biggest business-to-business event across Yorkshire.
“Attracting over 250 exhibitors and over 2000 visitors, this sell out event highlighted the desire from the region’s thriving business community to be part of one of Yorkshire's largest business networking events.
“Four inspiring speakers delivered sessions throughout the day from Dolphin ICT, Harrison College, TwentyFour IT and Austin Banks Recruitment.
“This free to enter exhibition was a day to share knowledge and build meaningful connections. It was an ideal opportunity to meet and network with local entrepreneurs, leaders and innovators, initiating potential partnerships and collaborations, and to connect with customers and suppliers within the business community.
“There was such a buzz and you could literally feel the enthusiasm. Such a great opportunity to see lots of familiar faces and connect with new businesses. People were chatting, making introductions, getting involved in games, and seeing products live in action, there was such a great atmosphere.
“A fantastic mix right across the business community, including colleges, independents, growing local companies, local authorities, and charitable organisations. A great reminder that this city is great. We have a wealth of thriving and talented businesses.”
She added: “This was such a well-organised event and congratulations to Business Doncaster. The day was about the people, about forming relationships and building trust.
“Such energy and enthusiasm filled the hall. It was an honour to be there and be part of such a shining event. The day felt like a celebration of the strength of our business community, let alone the talent, creativity and ambition that continues to power our local economy.”
