New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to eight of Doncaster’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.

The following ratings have been given to three restaurants, cafes or canteens:

• Rated 4: DeeDee's Cafe at Bankwood Lane Trading Park, Bankwood Lane, New Rossington; rated on March 17

• Rated 4: Nanny's Pantry at Cavendish Court, South Parade; rated on January 31

• Rated 4: Claire's Bakes & Shakes at Denaby Market, School Walk, Denaby Mainr; rated on December 21

And five ratings have been handed to takeaways:

• Rated 4: Pizza Pronto at 245 Station Road, Dunscroft; rated on March 1

• Rated 3: Chicos Pizza and Grill at Ground Floor, Balby Road, Balby; rated on December 6

• Rated 2: Sisi Pizza at St James Street, Balby Bridge; rated on April 13

• Rated 1: Spice Hut at Finkle Court, Thorne; rated on March 15

• Rated 1: Haveli Panjab Di at Printing Office Street, Doncaster; rated on March 2
