Doncaster firm takes on property management at iPort

Doncaster-based property consultancy group, Barnsdales has been appointed as the new property and facilities manager of logistics hub, iPort.

iPort is the UK’s most advanced multimodal logistics hub, offering build-to-suit warehousing opportunities combined with a range of speculatively developed units, helping companies such as Amazon, CEVA, Fellowes, Lidl, Maritime Transport, Woodland Group and Kingsbury Press distribute goods across the UK.

Barnsdales will play a key role in ensuring the continued growth and success of iPort, which will boast more than six million sq ft of logistics space when completed, supporting up to 5,000 jobs.

Barnsdales Property Consultants will act as property managers and sister company, Barnsdales FM will provide facilities management support for all existing properties on the site, ensuring iPort remains sustainable, efficient and user-friendly as it moves beyond its construction phase.
