“I loved fashion and art at school but I had lost my way with it.

“I have really been enjoying getting creative with paint colours and designs.”

The new business is named after a family member called Rose, Megan says that she is the reason that she fell in love with art as a child.

“I’m mostly making keepsakes that can be personalised by the customer,” she said.

“I myself found it hard to find nice handmade cards that people would want to keep rather than throw away.”

With many retail stores opening from Monday, June 15, Megan like many other independent business owners is encouraging people to shop locally.

She said: “I’ve found that there are so many more shops around me than I thought.

“But I really didn’t start to research them until lockdown.

“I think it’s great that I can order my bath bombs from a family owned business rather than from a big company - it’s cheaper too.”

Megan says that she was inspired by other people starting business during lockdown and that starting her own didn’t seem like something she could do before lockdown.

She said: “It’s really given me something to focus on and helped my mental health. “
