“Since March I’ve read 72 books and I have been loving it.”

Amy says the most she has read in one month is 15 books and that her favourite read has been the ‘Throne of Glass’ series by Sarah J Mass.

“I haven’t seen anybody doing blind books in Doncaster and I thought it would be a nice idea to introduce it through Instagram,” Amy said.

“I’m wrapping up books that I have already read in bright and colourful wrapping paper and sending them off to new homes.

The books will have simple descriptive words attached to them so that readers can pick their potential book based on genre but not on the book cover.

She hopes that the project will lead her to meet more fiction lovers in Doncaster as she has found it hard to find other book lovers her age in the town.

Amy is a student at Loughborough University studying Retail Market and Management and hopes to use the blind book project as a part of her degree.
