Despite a global pandemic these Doncaster ladies have defied the odds and set up their own businesses during the lockdown showing that it is possible to follow your dreams even in the hardest of times.

The pandemic has been hard for many businesses across Doncaster with new guidelines in place and retail shops being unable to open for months.

However, there has been a swarm of people starting up new businesses start-up since March and we want to celebrate their creation.

Many of the women on this list say that the lockdown gave them the push they needed to launch their business and work on dreams they have had for years.
