Success in speech and drama festival
The children recently took part in the annual week-long Scunthorpe Speech and Drama Festival, followed by several prize winning performances at the Invenio Academy Trophy Concert on the Saturday evening.
Key Stage 2 children won the first prize shield for the Choral Speaking section reciting two poems, ’Little Red Rap’ by Tony Mitten and ‘Slinky Malinki’ by Linley Dodd.

Jacob Dunstan, a Year 5 pupil who had performed very well in several classes, won the Bursary Award for the pupil with the most potential.
