Doncaster’s star of stage and screen Thomas Howes will star in a one-man, one-act show next month guaranteed to get you in the festive spirit.
The award-winning Downton Abbey actor will perform Diamond Theatre Company’s ‘What the Dickens Revealed’ at the Doncaster Little Theatre on December 1.
The third annual performance of its kind explores the man behind the author who wrote some of the greatest works in English literature.
He said: “Cosy up by the fireside, enjoy a free mince pie and glass of mulled wine, and yes, once again it does snow at the end!”
Tickets costing £10 are available by calling 01302 340 422.
Meanwhile, Thomas is supporting a raffle to raise money for the Dearne Playhouse and its panto - in which he will appear from December 12 as Widow Twanky.
Raffle prizes include signed merchandise and tickets to the Dickens show. Tickets for the panto and raffle tickets are available from the Playhouse on Washington Road, Goldthorpe.
