These are all the places you can fly to from Doncaster Sheffield Airport without needing to quarantine for two weeks

The aviation industry is trying to get back on its feet again after global lockdown measures axed flights – but travellers need to pick their destinations carefully to avoid having to go into quarantine when they arrive home.

Designed to limit the spread of Covid-19, the government’s rules mean people coming back from many places need to self-isolate for 14 days on their return.

The quarantine list is drawn up based on advice from the UK’s Joint Biosecurity Centre, which also provides guidance on countries that should be exempt as they pose a ‘reduced risk’ from coronavirus.

Flights to lots of these quarantine-free locations take off from Doncaster Sheffield Airport – below are all the destinations English travellers can visit without needing to self-isolate for a fortnight.

It must be pointed out that the official advice can change quickly – Spain was recently removed from the list of exempt nations at short notice, causing widespread disruption – and the government has warned that ‘no travel is risk-free’ at the moment.
