Morrisons have launched on Amazon Prime in Doncaster – offering same day grocery delivery

Members of the public can look forward to shopping on the 'Morrisons on Amazon' store with free delivery and thousands of grocery products.

Amazon and Morrisons announced that, for the first time, customers in Sheffield and surrounding areas including Doncaster, Rotherham and Barnsley are now able to do their full Morrisons food shop on Amazon.co.uk and enjoy free same-day delivery on orders over £40 as part of their Prime membership.

This announcement will make Morrisons even more accessible to customers that use Amazon.co.uk and the Amazon app.

Prime members can find the Morrisons products that they know and love, from everyday essentials to favourites such as Morrisons The Best range and Morrisons Market Street selection, including bread freshly baked by Morrisons bakers and hand finished cream cakes from its cake shops.

The range also includes handmade products from Morrisons’ butchers and fishmongers, and a selection of fruit and vegetables by quantity, providing even more choice.

Prime members will benefit from Amazon’s fastest grocery delivery offer, usually as fast as same-day for orders placed before 7pm in most areas.

As well as free delivery in two-hour windows, Prime members in the area can now choose delivery in a one-hour window on all orders over £40 for a delivery fee of £3.99. Orders are hand-picked from local stores by dedicated Morrisons staff and delivered to customers by Amazon Flex Delivery Partners.
