Comedian Mark Steel needs help to stage his bill-topping show at this autumn’s Doncaster HotHouse.
Mark will be performing a unique Doncaster-themed routine and he needs anecdotes from local people to make it work.
His ‘In Town’ show will see Mark muse on the quirkiness of Donny and its people. Anyone who wants to contribute should send their anecdotes to email@example.com or post them on Mark Steel’s In Town facebook wall.
Other festival highlights include duo Spiers and Boden, the Hull Truck production of The Glee Club, The Manchester Camerata, Doncaster’s own Wayne Sables Project and Mappa Mundi.
The festival runs from September through to December.
Mayor of Doncaster, Peter Davies, said: “What a fantastic range of top-quality performers we have coming to Doncaster. I hope as many people as possible come along to see these shows. We expect many of them to sell out so book your tickets early to avoid missing out.”
