That’s The Way, A-Ha A-Ha, Joe Lycett, Leadmill
Joe Lycett – the self-proclaimed ‘absolute lad’ – is touring his Edinburgh Fringe show, calling in at Sheffield on Thursday night.
Joe said: “This show is JAM-BLOODY-PACKED with sensational anecdotes exploring my ability to be silly and useless in various walks of life with the hope of finding some sort of meaning.
“Expect me to talk about my home town of Birmingham and at least one joke about will.i.am GUARANTEED or YOUR MONEY BACK!”
Actually, he’s not guaranteeing your money back, but he does have a will.i.am joke that he’s pretty pleased about.
Having burst on to the scene in 2008, Joe is now on his second UK tour after the enormously successful If Joe Lycett Then You Should’ve Put A Ring On It.
He’s being tipped by a lot of people in comedy as a big star of the future.
Joe’s s other TV appearances include Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Apprentice: You’re Fired and Drunk History.
Over the coming months he’ll be seen on 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown, Would I Lie To You? and Sunday Night at the Palladium.
Perhaps bizarrely for someone with such a laddish image, he was also one of Friday’s guests on The Great British Bake-Off Extra Slice, discussing patisserie week…
